Bella was getting kind of hungry so she set off into the woods. She knew that Edward wasn't going to like this if she was out hunting alone, but she knew she had to feed. As she sat on top of one of the branches, she began to scence what was around her. She noticed a deer just below her, so she jumped down and got the deer. She bit her teeth into the flesh and began to suck the tasty blood from the kicking animal. Finally the deer stopped kicking and Bella could recover the rest of the blood from the deer. She stood up, wiping the blood off her face and decided to walk around the woods. She knew that even if a wolf were to come by, she would be able to smell it. She isn't afraid of them, Jacob wouldn't hurt her at all, he is still one of her friends, but she still hates for him imprinting on her one and only daughter.

Boredom was such a threat to Renesmee. As someone who enjoyed doing activities in her daily and nightly life, she got bored so easily if she could not find something to do. She had been sitting in the Cottage, reading Wuthering Heights for what she thought to be the millionth time (the relationship between Heathcliff and Cathy seemed to relate to her and a certain significant other at present), but had left her bookmark in the middle and had thrust it on her bed, finding her love for reading to be at a low. Tucking long strands of dark hair behind her ear, Renesmee stood and stretched. She had her mothers dark brown hair, a trait which she cherished. Renesmee could never pull off the lighter color of hair that her father had. Nobody was at home with her - her dad was likely out with Carlisle, and her mother, well, she had not seen nor heard where her mother was going. It seemed that it entitled there to be an adventure to find her mother. Going out in a warm outfit, Renesmee set off into the woods, the sunlight beaming down through to create many spotlights in the forestry. Fortunately for Renesmee, she could go out into the sunlight, and enjoy her day. Instead of her sking shimmering like crystals, as her family's skin did, her skin just glowed. So she looked like a glowing little angel as she was hit with the bright sunlight. Renesmee wore a light pink t-shirt and white shorts, and gathered herself into running through the trees, the wind tussling her hair as it billowed behind her. She was inhumanly fast, and nobody saw her, Renesmee made sure of that. If anyone found out what she was, she would jeopardize the lives of not only her but her entire family, and families in various covens. Renesmee stopped, smelling blood not too far away from where she was.
A figure was nearby. Lately, Renesmee had been feeling as though she was being watched. It could be her protective family been ever more so protective of her due to the fact that she was now a teenager (or, at least, looked like one), and that her and Jacob had been spending a lot of time together. No matter what, though, Renesmee felt strange eyes following her some times. She did not feel much need to worry about it though. The figure looked a lot like her, strangely, and so Renesmee looked on, peering around from around a tree. It was her mother after all, and the smell of blood must have meant that her mother had been off hunting. But her father was nowhere in sight; had mother gone off feeding alone? Was everything alright between them? The thoughts consumed her mind, so Renesmee decided the best way to conclude anything about the current situation was to journey forward and ask her mother. Her curls now cascaded past her shoulders, tickling her upper arm as she walked forward. "Hello mother." Renesmee called as she came closer, struggling to catch up, but finally doing so by jogging up. She wasn't going to mention to her mother how Jacob was busy so he could not do anything today; Jacob was a now immensely sensitive subject with Renesmee's mother, but Renesmee had no idea why. She knew there were secrets she did not know, but she had not asked Jacob yet. It would be something she would ask him the next time they were out. "Where's father? Is everything alright?" Renesmee questioned a bit worriedly. For a moment, if only a mere one, a look of worry crossed Renesmee's petite face, as she looked to her mother, who was only slightly taller than her now.

Bella looked over as she heard her daughter, "Hello, yes everything is perfectally fine. Your mom just had to get out and feed, let's just keep this between you and I. We don't need him getting upset at me for going out by myself, you know how clumbsy your mother can me." she said chuckling.
She then sighed and then looked at her, "So where is Jacob right now?" she said, trying not be a typical mother, let alone upset at her friend that is now being with her daughter. She looked at her daughter, "What are you doing out here anyways?"

Renesmee looked at her mother. Her mother had also given her the clumsiness that she was known for, and Renesmee some times secretly cursed her mother for that when she would fall or stumble randomly. She leaned back against a large tree, looking up at the top of the clutter of leaves for a moment before listening to her mother. "I won't tell father, don't worry about that. He's probably going to worry when both of us are missing from home anyways." Renesmee spoke, smiling after. Her body was directly in the sunlight, right out where anybody could easily spot her. Her skin glowed - it was an odd sight, but to her, she only felt the warmth, and ignored the oddity before her that was her own body. Another oddity would be that she was relatively the same age as both of her parents. In fact, she was just about the same age as her father, her mother a year or so older than the two of them. She found it difficult at times to be scolded or lectured without finding it weird and ridiculous. Renesmee often seeked judgment from Carlisle and Esme, her grandparents, because it felt like talking to friends when she was actually talking to her parents. Tucking her curls behind her ear, she heard the name she'd been dreading to hear from her mother. For some reason, it was a sensitive subject with her, so Renesmee was left wondering why her mother would be bringing it up with her.
She contemplated how to word her sentence before actually uttering it. Bringing up anything unnecessary would be something she was sure to regret later. "He texted me earlier, out doing stuff with the pack. I'll probably be meeting up with him later for a movie or something. Only if that's alright with you and dad." Renesmee informed her mother, making sure she didn't sound so sure of herself about Jacob. She'd already promised him that she would hang out, and lying to Jacob was something she did not want to make a pattern of. He was her best friend, her support, the guy she liked being around. Why none of her family went to his area was something she'd been told of recently, and she understood a lot more about the situation. Had Jacob done something to Bella that had caused her to be a bit off with him as of late? She was so confused about everything that she kept it to herself and bottled it up. "Well, dad left me at home by myself, told me to stay there. But reading Wuthering Heights for the hundredth time has lost its goodness. So I decided to take a walk, and found you." Renesmee told her mother, knowing fully well that she may get a bit of a tap on the hand figuratively for what she had done by disobeying her father's command. She did not want to cause any trouble, but boredom had grasped her so quickly that she did not have time to react.
And before she knew it, she was asking her mother a question she probably should not have. "Why do you not like Jacob?" Renesmee blurted out, the honesty spilling from her mouth before she could prevent it from doing so. Her original plan had been to wait to speak to Jacob about it before confronting her own family, but now she had screwed that all up, and there was nothing left but to wait for an answer.

Bella looked at her daughter. She can't believe that she never got to really hold her as a baby, because in physical features she has grown up to the age of both her mother and father, with Bella still older than them. She watched her daughter glow instead of sparkle in the sunlight, her daughter was special in everyway, and the glowing makes her even more special. She chuckled "Yeah, you're father would flip out. You and I are not really cordinated, blame your grandma on that one." She said laughing. Bella took off her jacket, so she could shimmer in the sunlight. There was no one around, and even if they saw the sparkle, they'd think it was from the sun.
She then looked at Renesmee as she explained about Jacob, "That's cool that he is out doing stuff with the pack.' She then heard her say something about going to a movie with him later. Her body twitched on the inside, but she is going to have to let her daughter enjoy life, "it's fine with me, your father might not like it, but I say it's fine, go out with Jacob. I'm going to have to let you go out and enjoy yourself, and not shelter you inside. Even if we would have said no, you would have gone with him. People, including Jacob, warned me not to be with your father, and I don't to tell you that you can't be with Jacob, because I'll be just like how everyone was with me."
What came out of her daughter's mouth next surprised her, "Renesmee, of course I like Jacob. He was one of my friends long before I even knew your father." she stated, "The only thing that I don't like is that technically he is my age, and you're my little girl, who grew up and just happened to be physically my age, and a werewolf." She started, "That is the only thing that bothers me.. But who am I to judge that? I was a human who was dating a vampire, and friends with a werewolf."

Renesmee managed a smile at the thought of getting the clumsiness from her gran. She did know her gran, but had not seen her in a while because of how she'd aged. Some nights, when she would be alone and by herself out at night, Renesmee would venture to see her grandfather, Charlie, at his home. She never saw them, never got to know them. It was as if she'd been alive as a baby and gone when she grew suddenly older. It was a sheer shame to her that she be prevented from seeing her grandparents on her mother's side, but she knew there was good reason for her not to be seen by them. She was a partial vampire, and had aged sixteen years in a year's span. Maybe in many years they could see her, but that meant so much missed time between present and future. "Dad always blamed the lack of stability on you and your mother." Renesmee smiled, agreeing with her mother Bella on the lack of sturdiness they both shared. It was a blessing to heal so quickly; otherwise, Renesmee would be immensely bruised and scratched up.
Renesmee sighed. She knew Jacob was out with the pack, but he was usually in a sour mood when he got back from being out with the pack. Either that or he was overconfident with himself. He was the beta although Renesmee thought he was the rightful alpha. "Yeah. It just means that I have to find something to do with my day while everyone else is busy, and that he falls asleep when it gets too late. Boys, they're so confusing." Renesmee explained, trying to keep the conversation light. Her mother rather surprised her by saying that she did not mind Renesmee going out with Jacob to hang out. Usually, her father Edward described to Renesmee how Bella did not like her going with Jacob, and that he (Edward) did not like her going with him either, so Renesmee would just roll her eyes, speak to Rosalie, and skip off with her permission to go with Jacob. It wasn't like they were getting intensely serious about anything any time soon, so it was fine that she was hanging with him. It wasn't like they were going to get married and have kids any time soon. So, hearing her mother allowing her to be with Jacob kind of shocked her internally, but she was glad on the exterior. "Thank you mom, it means so much to me" Renesmee thanked her mother, walking up to her excitedly and hugging her around the neck, because Renesmee was a bit shorter than her mother Bella.
She listened carefully as her mother informed her about why she did not like Jacob. It was because Jacob was her friend, and Renesmee was what, dating him? She wasn't even sure what it was, all she knew was that it was something more than friendship that she wanted with him. He had Imprinted on her as a baby and now that she was older, her feelings were now being returned. Dating was one way to put it, but Renesmee had not made it official with him yet. She had other things on her mind, and other people, including Alec. She knew her family would not exactly approve of her ways of living, but she liked Alec. He was actually kind of funny, sort of a gentleman too when he was away from his sister Jane. "Jake and I aren't dating. I don't actually know what we are. Friends, and right now I like him, but there are other people catching my interest. Well, really only one other person." Renesmee said, leading on to the fact that she held on to a secret perhaps beyond her own realization. "Mom, I have a secret. Something I don't even know if I can tell the rest of the family, or even Jacob, because he'd get mad. Promise you won't tell them?" She was worried that if she told her mother, that Bella would just simply not understand her.

Bella looked at her daughter as she said that Edward always blamed the clumsiness on her mother and grandmother "Just because your father has more balance than me, doesn't mean he can blaim me for it. he's had years of experience, I've had.. Not so many years." She said laughing. Bella felt the wind rushing through the trees. Just sitting, talking to her daughter one on one like this made her feel good. Sometimes it didn't feel like she was talking to her daughter but a friend. Since they were physically the same age, it was hard for her to think of Renesmee as a baby. "Normally I'm clumsy when my mind is on something else. Though, after being turned, I have a little bit more balance. Running threw the trees and not running into them is a great accomplishment." she said laughing.
When Bella heard Renesmee say that boys were confusing, she chuckled, "When you are dealing with your father and Jacob, yeah they can be confusing. Girls like confusing guys, I'll never fully understand that either." She was so glad when she heard her daughter say thank you about her and Jacob hanging out, and she was relieved when she said that they weren't dating each other. But what shocked her the most was when she said that there was another guy. Then something beyond what she could imagine came out of her daughter's mouth. Her daughter had a secret, and from the tone of her voice it was serious. "What is it Renesmee? Is something bothering you? Did something happen?" The one thing she was worried about was that her daughter could possibly be pregnant with a hybrid of a vampire/human, and a werewolf. But when she said that she couldn't tell Jacob, she knew that couldn't be true. "does it have to do with this other person?"

Renesmee masked her face with a smile while thinking of the amazing feeling of running through the trees at a speed most people could ever dream of reaching. She'd let her mind wander while doing so the other day, and had unfortunately hit a tree, knocking it over and landing on it after it fell. It was an unpleasant experience. "I know what you mean. I'm still getting used to my teenage body." Renesmee explained to her mother, agreeing with her again. She was only a year old and was aged to seventeen. It was an unexplainable feeling to be in a body you were new to, and had no time to grow up in. At least she could now challenge her uncle Emmett to arm wrestling fights and have a bit of hope at winning. She was still a new vampire, more sensitive than her family, and yet she held some control because of her human side. Renesmee shifted her position as she leaned against the tree, standing a bit apart from her mother so they could comfortably talk. As the wind passed by her, shifting around her figure and weaving back together to continue on, her hair billowed to the side. She ran slender, pale and glowing fingers through her dark brown hair, and then continued, listening to her mother and glad she knew what Renesmee was feeling. "I hit a tree yesterday. I am still getting used to doing vampire things. It's all so different. But then again i'm different, too." She was different. Visibly so.
Renesmee liked being with Jacob. He was confusing, yes, but he was someone she could be with for the rest of her life. So was that other person that she liked. Confusing, but so amazing. Why did boys have to be so confusing? "They are. But we're just as confusing. Guys can never figure us out. Imagine how confusing we are - especially to the mind reading vampires. Like dad, who can't get into either of our minds." Renesmee spoke, and smirked. It was a good thing that her father could not see into her mind, see how her mind worked. She some times was bewildered by her own thoughts and the situations she got herself into. She was just as puzzling as any other girl was, loaded with unnecessary drama, boy issues, and reasons why school should go by faster. but her drama went further - she had to worry about being in love with a werewolf, being a half vampire, half human, and also, liking another vampire who just happened to be part of something that she slightly despised and invited into. Her mother looked at her, and she knew that look - that look meant her mother was thinking something that wasn't true but that could be an accusation. She thought something had happened between her and Jacob and now Renesmee was - pregnant, marrying him, running away with him. There were all sorts of possibilities, but none of them were true. "No, it's nothing like what you're thinking, mom, Jacob and I haven't done anything wrong." Renesmee assured her, knowing what the look had meant. She sighed, rubbing the back of her neck, wondering how to word the explanation correctly without leaving important details out or without saying too much. Her mother guessed it was about the other that Renesmee had described previously.
She swallowed, just making sure her throat was clear. her mother was right, it was that other person. "Yes, it is about the other person, but please let me describe everything before you yell." Renesmee pleaded, her eyes wary of her mother's emotions toward the group she was about to describe to her mom. "Well, I was gone for a while, when grandfather Carlisle asked me to take a run, to get to know my surroundings for a little bit. I kind of made a stop in Italy, and ran into Jane and Alec of the Volturi." Renesmee began, and closed her eyes for a moment. It was difficult telling her mother about her situation, and even more so because it was about Alec. She had feelings for him, and she felt she brought him out of his shell, out of his core being and into a better person, and he did the same for her. "Well, I kind have been talking to Alec a lot. I like him, mom, I really do. He's far away, and i'm here, but we talk on the phone, and he's a different person than the one you guys know. I've seen him every so often, and we meet up some times. I am stuck between him and Jacob, mom, and I don't know what to do." Renesmee admitted, confessing her love life to her mother. Never had she been so weak in her life emotionally, when she was thinking of Alec and Jacob. Both were there for her, and she liked both, but she knew Bella would be obviously unhappy about it. "I'm so sorry." Renesmee said, fumbling her fingers as they intertwined, awkward and waiting for a lecture.

Bella was overwelmed with the fact that nothing was wrong with Renesmee and Jacob, but what was to come from her daughter's mouth would have knocked her out of the tree if she was still in it, "Renesmee! You're telling me that you have fallen for someone in the group that wanted to kill you because you were a hybrid? The ones that we had to call others in to save you're life, and you love him? How could you do this? You are so glad that your father can't read our minds, he could end up killing Alec, or banishing you. You know how upset he got when he found out that you and Jacob were handing out. He got upset about the imprinting on you, and the fact that he had to change me to save my life and had to fight to save your life and you like him? Bella couldn't say that she was really upset, as she thought before, she couldn't judge, but she was her mother and she had to worry about it.
"who else besides me knows that you like Alec besides you, him, and I" She questioned, "it'll probably be best if you don't tell your father, I can't stand to lose my daughter."
